Ready for work and play
The suspension has been adjusted to improve the balance and handling. The upper suspension is now a bearing type with adjustments to the damping forcing of the rear suspension increasing the bikes contact with the road for added traction. In addition, by increasing the damping force of the front suspension the overall stability is improved for a more comfortable riding experience. The lightweight frame and tapered aluminium swingarm make handling easy when changing direction on or off-road. This is a motorcycle born to explore.
Power and Torque for all terrains
The single-cylinder engine produces 20.1kW @ 8,500rpm and 26.6Nm of torque @ 6,500rpm, providing crisp and instant delivery. The Assist/Slipper Clutch makes it even easier to handle around town and off-road, enabling a lighter clutch lever pull. The exhaust system has been upgraded to improve the heat management, with new radiator grill for increased air intake flow and new side cover to divert exhaust air flow from the rider.
New Piercing LED Headlight
The CRF300L has rugged lightweight fairing and now features a new LED headlight and indicators, ensuring a big presence on the road day or night, improving visibility for the rider and other road users. The slim proportions of the fuel tank and seat, contoured for comfort and easy ground reach, make you feel in control of the bike. A USB type-c charger is available as an optional accessory and can be fitted next to the meter panel for convenience on the move. The 880mm seat height, and upright riding position provide natural control and comfort for riding on any terrain. Whether navigating city streets or conquering new trails – or both in a day – the CRF300L is born ready.
Built for Adventure
The CRF300L has true dual-sport performance, with DNA from the CRF450R and CRF450RX competition bikes developed in partnership with the HRC racing programme. A 285mm ground makes bumping over logs so much easier and controlled. The lively engine response provides instant torque when you open up the throttle. For sensitive, powerful braking, the floating 256mm wavy disc is gripped by a two-piston caliper, and two-channel ABS allows the option to switch off the rear caliper when riding off-road.
Responsive liquid-cooled DOHC 4V single-cylinder engine
Instant delivery is provided by the 286cc engine with 20.1kW @ 8,500rpm and 26.6Nm of torque @ 6,500rpm. The engine has full EURO5 compliance and is compatible with an A2 licence.
Improved suspension settings
The upper suspension has changed to a bearing type with optimised rear suspension damping force, and the damping force on the front suspension is increased to provide a more stable and comfortable riding experience on or off-road.
Assist/Slipper Clutch
The Assist/Slipper Clutch eases upshifts and manages rear wheel ‘hop’ under hard braking and rapid downshifts, for extra control around town in busy traffic. And it’s essential when navigating challenging off-road terrain.
New LED headlight and indicators
The aggressive headlight design now features an even brighter LED light for optimum visibility and an even bigger presence on the road. LED indicators clearly signal your movements to other road users and pedestrians.
Lightweight chassis
The lightweight steel semi-double cradle frame design design and aluminium swingarm, make easy handling in all conditions. The forged aluminium bottom yoke also contributes to comfortable stability.
Comprehensive Digital Dash
Easy-to-read information is laid out clearly and features a speedometer, rev-counter, fuel gauge and clock, and now also a gear position indicator.

The CRF300 RALLY is a small capacity machine packing serious credentials. With styling drawn directly from the competition-specification HRC CRF450 RALLY, it adds long-range ability and comfort to its off-road performance thanks to a large 12.8L fuel tank and wind-cheating nose fairing and screen. The ‘floating’ screen – along with the upper/lower fairing and side shrouds – effectively shields the rider and offers excellent protection from the elements. Piercing dual LED headlights provide excellent forward visibility on and off-road. The handlebar position contributes to a natural riding position when seated and a lowered seat height creates easy ground reach, with rubber inserts in the footpegs for added security.
