WOMEN IN MOTORCYCLING EXHIBITION

In Honda’s first year at this event, we complemented our display bike with a fleet of live demo bikes available for attendees to ride and enjoy. The success of these were summed up with the ever-popular CRF1100L Africa Twin selling out of demo slots within 20 minutes of our attendance being announced. In addition to the Africa Twin, guests could also choose from a range of Honda favourites such as the CMX500 Rebel and CMX1100 Rebel with DCT, CB500X, CB650R, CBR500 & CBR650R and the Neo Sport CB1000R. The day would see the fleet of bikes fully utilised without a seat going spare all day.

Hosted by Leona Graham, a resident presenter on Absolute Radio and London City commuter on her NC750X DCT. Leona would lead the conversation with @_RubyRides_ & Kenndréa Evans (HondaAndHer)

@_RubyRides_ A keen and experienced sports bike rider with over 130,000 social media followers brought her passion and experience to the event. Enthusiastic to promote diversity and inclusion in all parts of the motorcycle world, Ruby jumped at the opportunity to be involved on the Honda stand.

Kenndréa Evans (@HondaAndHer) is at the other end of her motorcycling career. Having only passed her CBT in the Spring of this year she is yet to topple 400 miles on her faithful CB125F. Kenndréa has a unique view on the motorcycle industry. Not being involved with motorcycles before, Kenndréa was encouraged to pursue her new challenge after being told “you could never do it” by her teenage son.

The trio discuss their experiences and views on the motorcycle world. Tune in to our event video for the full podcast.

The Women in Motorcycling Exhibition also provides some unique experiences. Not many shows allow you to wake up on the day of the event and open your tent door to a 16th century prison of Mary Queen of Scots.

A wealth of history awaits anyone that attends the show along with activities to keep us all entertained. Guest speakers, workshops and music fill the schedule from show day and into the evening.
