The journey to electrified vehicles is accelerating so quickly that it can be hard to keep up at times and let’s be honest, some of the language around it can be a little too technical. We spoke to 5,000 petrol and diesel drivers across Europe and a staggering 61% of them admitted they find reading about hybrid and electric vehicles confusing.  

With 58% of those drivers viewing electrified vehicles as the future of motoring and 21% of them expecting to transition to an electrified vehicle within two years, it’s time to clear the road ahead. Technical language (40%), no user experience or relatable real-life examples (31%) and vague terms and phrases (30%) are the most common reasons as to why petrol and diesel drivers find reading about electrified vehicles so confusing.
