Prize draw for Ron Haslam Race School and Honda Adventure Center
1. THE PROMOTER
1.1 The promoter is Honda Motor Europe Limited trading as Honda (UK), Cain Road, Bracknell, RG12 1HL (the “Promoter”).
2. THE COMPETITION
2.1 The title of the competition is “Prize draw for Ron Haslam Race School and Honda Adventure Centre”.
3.1 The competition will run from 9am on Saturday 16th November (the “Opening Date”) to 5pm on Sunday 24th November 2019 (the “Closing Date”) inclusive.
3.2 All competition entries must be received by the Promoter submitting an entry via Honda’s online events application called (“Honda iDC App”) by no later than 6pm on the Closing Date. All competition entries received after the Closing Date are automatically disqualified.
3.3 You can enter the competition online by submitting the online entry form provided on the Honda iDC App by the Closing Date. If you have any questions about how to enter or in connection with the prize draw, please e-mail us at huk.customer.database.manager@honda-eu.com.
3.4 No purchase necessary and there is no charge to register for use of the Honda iDC App.
3.5 The Promoter will not accept responsibility for competition entries that are lost, mislaid, damaged or delayed in transit, regardless of cause, including, for example, as a result of any equipment failure, technical malfunction, systems, satellite, network, server, computer hardware or software failure of any kind.
3.6 By submitting a competition entry, you are agreeing to be bound by these terms and conditions.

3.8 The competition entries will be randomly selected and the winners will be communicated by the Promoter.
4.1 The competition is only open to all residents in the UK aged 18 years or over for the prize draw for Ron Haslam Race School, except see 4.2 (a) to (c) below.
4.2 The competition is only open to all residents in the UK aged 21 years for the prize draw for Honda Adventure Centre, except:
(a) employees of the Promoter or its holding or subsidiary companies;
(b) employees of agents or suppliers of the Promoter or its holding or subsidiary companies, who are professionally connected with the competition or its administration; or
(c) members of the immediate families or households of (a) and (b) above.
4.3 In entering the competition, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and eligible to claim the prize. The Promoter may require you to provide proof that you are eligible to enter the competition.
4.4 The Promoter will not accept competition entries that are:
(a) automatically generated by computer;
(b) completed by third parties or in bulk;
(c) illegible, have been altered, reconstructed, forged or tampered with; or
(d) incomplete.
4.5 Full A road bike licence is compulsory for the Honda Adventure Centre competition.
4.6 There is a limit of one entry per person. Entries on behalf of another person will not be accepted and joint submissions are not allowed.
4.7 The Promoter reserves all rights to disqualify you if your conduct is contrary to the spirit or intention of the prize competition.
4.8 Competition entries cannot be returned.
5. THE PRIZE
5.1 The prizes are x2 pairs of tickets to the Ron Haslam Race School and x2 pairs of tickets to Honda Adventure Centre.
5.2 The prize for the Ron Haslam Race School is provided by Honda Ron Haslam Race School, West Meadow Farm, 123 Main Road, Smalley, Derbyshire, DE7 6DT. The prize for the Honda Adventure Centre is provided by Honda Adventure Centre, Bottom Barn, Crammer, Broadhembury, Honiton, Devon, EX14 3LN.
5.3 The Honda Adventure Centre prize is for x4 places (x2 pairs) at Honda Adventure Centre, including lunch, bikes, tuition and full day out. The one day tour is riding Africa Twin bikes across Exmoor National Park, Somerset. The prize can be claimed between March 2020 and October 2020 on selected dates only. The prize does not include travel insurance, transfer costs to and from the venue, spending money, tax or personal expenses. Any other costs incurred in addition to those set out above and that are incidental to the fulfilment of the prize are the responsibility of the winner(s).
The Ron Haslam Race School prize is for x4 (x2 pairs) places at Ron Haslam Race School on their on-track experience. The prize can be claimed between 8th April 2020 to 23rd September 2020 on selected dates only. The prize does not include travel insurance, transfer costs to and from the venue, spending money, food and beverage, tax or personal expenses. Any other costs incurred in addition to those set out above and that are incidental to the fulfilment of the prize are the responsibility of the winner(s).
5.4 Prizes are subject to availability. There is no cash alternative.
5.5 The prize is not negotiable or transferable.
6.1 The decision of the Promoter is final and no correspondence or discussion will be entered into.
6.2 Winning entries will be randomly selected and communicated to the winners by the Promoter (Honda Motor Europe Limited trading as Honda (UK)) before 17:00 on 29th November 2019 (“Announcement Date”) by telephone. Promoter will attempt to call each winner at least four times.
6.3 The Promoter will contact the winners personally as soon as practicable after the Announcement Date, using the telephone number or email address provided with the competition entry. The Promoter will not amend any contact information once the competition entry form has been submitted.
7.1 If you are the winner of the prize, the prize will be dispatched (either via email or via recorded delivery) by 17:00 on 6th December 2019.
7.2 The prize may not be claimed by a third party on your behalf.
7.3 The Promoter will make all reasonable efforts to contact the winner. If the winner cannot be contacted, the Promoter reserves the right to offer the prize to the next eligible randomly selected winner from the correct entries that were received before the Closing Date.
7.4 The Promoter does not accept any responsibility if you are not able to take up the prize.
8. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoter, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of the Promoter, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.
9. OWNERSHIP OF COMPETITION ENTRIES AND INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS
9.1 All competition entries and any accompanying material submitted to the Promoter will become the property of the Promoter on receipt and will not be returned
9.2 By submitting your competition entry and any accompanying material, you agree to:
(a) assign to the Promoter all your intellectual property rights with full title guarantee; and
(b) waive all moral rights,
in and to your competition entry and otherwise arising in connection with your entry to which you may now or at any time in the future be entitled under the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988 as amended from time to time and under all similar legislation from time to time in force anywhere in the world.
10. DATA PROTECTION AND PUBLICITY
10.1 The Promoter will only process your personal information as set out in the https://www.honda.co.uk/privacy.html (“Honda Privacy Policy”).
10.2 The Honda Privacy Policy sets out in in full the ways in which the Promotor processes your personal data when you participate in the prize draw. The Honda Privacy Policy also describes your data protection rights in relation to the processing activities described in this clause 10, how long we will retain your data and how you can contact us to withdraw your consent any time with effect for the future. 10.3 The Promotor will collect the following personal data: Name, Address, Telephone number and Email Address. The Promotor will process this personal data for the following legitimate interests:
(i) to check and ensure that you are eligible to participate in the competition; and
(ii) to be able to notify the winners
Your details will be shared with Brandwidth Ltd (Supplier) to enable Supplier to run the competition on the Promotor’s behalf.
10.4 Participants may opt out of receiving future marketing communications by contacting us at consentuk@honda-eu.com or writing to The Database Manager, Honda (UK), Cain Road, Bracknell, RG12 1HL or calling us on 0345 200 8000.
11.GENERAL
11.1 If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these terms and conditions, the Promoter may, at its sole discretion, reserve the right to exclude you from participating in the competition.
11.2 The Promoter reserves the right to hold void, suspend, cancel, or amend the prize competition where it becomes necessary to do so.
11.3 These terms and conditions shall be governed by English law, and the parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
