CMX1100 Rebel

There’s a Rebel in all of us.

Three Honda CMX1100 Rebel in building location.

It’s not just where you’ve been. It’s where you’re going. And the new CMX1100 Rebel is built to take you there in unique, street cruising style. More punch from its characterful twin-cylinder engine drives hard from down low and right through the mid-range. A roomier riding position – handlebars raised and pulled back toward the rider, footpegs moved forward and a 10mm higher seat height – makes for a more comfortable and surefooted position. And a crisp new 5-inch TFT display, with Honda RoadSync smartphone connectivity, keeps you fully in the loop while you’re out there riding, moving on.

Long, Low and Beautiful

The CMX1100 Rebel is slim, too.

With 710mm seat height for straightforward low-speed handling and easy ground reach. And the details are just right. A scalloped, 13.6L flangeless fuel tank sits above the muscular engine. The front and rear mudguards are drawn from 1mm-thick steel and mount on die-cast aluminium. A true classic of motorcycle design, the circular headlight also stares out with a modern twist; its four bright LED bulbs define Rebel style as do LED indicators and clear lensed taillight. The CMX1100 is also a bike proportioned to look just as good with a rider onboard – because it matters.

The Control of Power

And Power of Control.

You hold the CMX1100 Rebel’s powerful engine firmly in your right hand thanks to sophisticated electronics that make every twist of throttle an undiluted joy, without getting in the way. Throttle By Wire delivers three default riding modes – Standard, Sport and Rain – newly refined for the uprated performance, alongside optimised Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC) and Wheelie Control. Plus, if you want you can customise the output, including power and engine braking, in User mode. We’ve also upgraded the optional six-speed Dual Clutch Transmission (DCT) for smoother starts and stops, as well as intuitive low-speed U-turn response.

Raw Style

Engineered for the ride.

A design statement itself the steel mainframe uses 35mm tubes to construct the long and low bobber look, alongside the heavy duty, 50.8mm diameter swingarm. But make no mistake, this bike is built to be ridden as well as admired. So, we’ve made a few adjustments to the riding position based on feedback from the people that really know: Rebel owners. The handlebars are pulled back 28mm and raised 12mm. The footpegs move 50mm forward and the seat – using new high-grade urethane foam – 10mm thicker for a (still low) 710mm seat height. The result? Much more room for a variety of rider heights and more relaxed ride, with increased comfort and control.
